Ron Kurrle CEO & Founder

Three decades of experience providing quality event marketing and management services for competitive running, cycling and adventure events

Ron started Pacific Coast Race Timing (Formally Runners Image) in 1985 and since then has connected with runners across the region, promoting events as well bringing professional, accurate, timing services to over a million Southern California athletes.

Ron's experience with fitness and health goes back over half a century. After studying physical education at California State University Long Beach, Ron spent 35 years as a Kinesiotherapist at the Long Beach VA Medical Center.

His passion for events is rooted in his successful competitive career. At his peak, Kurrle qualified for the U.S. Olympic trials in 1972, finished third in the Athens Marathon in 1974 and 8th in the 1976 Boston Marathon.
